DONALD YOUNGBERG WINSMEDAL FOR VIET HEROISMArmy Spec. 4 Donald K. Youngberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Youngberg, has been awarded the Bronze Star with “V” device for heroism.Youngberg was a student at Las Vegas High School and worked as a bus boy at 1 Caesars Palace before enlisting in■ November, 1966.Adjutant General L. M. Miller nom-inated the soldier for his heroism.While Youngberg was serving as an armored vehicle driver with L Troop, Third Squadron, Eleventh Armored Cavalry Regiment at Loc Ninh, Vietnam, his unit came under intense fire.Youngberg “aggressively moved to combat the enemy offensive, contributing greatly to the overwhelming defeat of the determined insurgent force,” according to General Miller.
