T he Ihip , McKever, of Philadelphia, wanbeating into St. Thomas* as capt P. came out.Arrived at Alexandria, brig George, Ver-ry, from Salem ; (hip Smallwood, John-fon, Martinique.Capt. Verry*s Log-book dates, that in lat. 38, 30. Ion. 70, 30, he was brought too by the privateer Jean Bart, Peter La Fitte, trailer, mounting 14 gnas, 12 of which were 9 pounders, and 150 men.— Captain La Fitte put on board the brig, a number of men belonging to the prizes li« had taken, after which the privateer made fail fleering S.
