VIU1 OtlV/I!#Airs. Max Rasmussen received a V-letter from her husband, written on V-E Day, that he was released as a prisoner of Germany and expected to be in Chicago about the 1st of June. He h^d been a prisoner about 18 months. He served on a Bomber plane and was reported missing in action and later reported a prisoner of Germany. He will have 60 days furlough but will require some hospitalization. Max formerly livedin Orland Park and attended the schools here, then moved to Chicago to complete his schooling. Graduated from the Parker high school. June 20. 1940.
