They will land in Istanbul and will then go to Ankara.Her speech well rehearsed bynow will be HI Sergeant Daddy”and then she and her Daddywill become friends all overagain. She can’t remember toomuch about him except whather mother tells for he wentaway before she was old enoughto go for walks or have stories read to her.Her father, Sgt. David McCartney is associated with the military aid in the training of Turkish soldiers and has been in Ankara since April 1952.Grandparents of Linda, whowas two years old April 12, are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Packer, Orviston; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McCartney of Howard.
