As is thecustom, the flag will remain at half mast until noonOrganizations will regroup and start the parade which will continue to Rice Creek Bridge for a brief ceremony by the Navy Mothers who will place a wreath in the water. The MHS band will play to end this portion of the program before the parade continues to Oakridge Cemetery.Sullivan will lead ceremonies there which will begin with lowering the flag to half mast. with VFW Commander Wayne Delaney officiating.VFW Chaplain David Mestemaker willgive the invocation and Sullivan will introduce Mayor Murray Crawford and the speaker, Dr. Clyde H. Wilcox.Dr. Wilcox, a retired Congregational minister, has lived here since January 1964. He was ordained at Eaton Rapidto and has had pastorates at Allegan, St. Clair and St. Johns.
