Decoration Day.The meeting for perfecting the programme for the decoration of Soldiers’,graves, on the 30tli inst., met at the Court House, Friday evening, May 3rd, 1870, pursuant to adjournment.House called to order, and minutes of last meeting read and approved.The President stated that to more fully explain the object of the meeting, if no objections the order of Gen. Logan would be read. There being none, it was read by the Secretary.Capt. Shumate, from the committee appointed at the previous meeting, to arrange a programme, made the following report:The committee have discharged the duty assigned them and now respectfully submit the following:1. Citizens to convene at the Court House at one o’clock P. M. on said day.2. Music, by the band.3. Praver, bv Rev. W. C. Gerard.4. Formation of procession in the following order:1. Lebanon Silver Band.2. Capt. J. H. Dooley and F. M. Davis,with battle Hags.3. Committee of thirty-six little girls carrying baskets of dowers, escorted bv» w *(Juard of 1 Ionor.4. Gen. Lew. Committee of thirty-six little girls todecorate graves.•.6. Guard of Honor, or firing squad, consisting of twenty soldiers, under command of Capt. Shumate.It is further suggested that one Chief Marshal and two Assistant Marshals be appointed. All of which is respetfully submitted, and your committee ask to be discharged.
