She has headed the committees for the show in Santa Fe for more than two decades, again this year serving as show chairman. She received a citation from the club in appreciation of her long service. The scroll was presented by Derek G. Rayne of Carmel, Calif., one of the judges who hasjudged the shows here 10 times In the past 14 years.Evelyn had a second surprise when she was further presented the Gaines Research Medal, a national award given for good sportsmanship.
