SEBEKA MAN WELCOME—V. J. Kannianen, boatswain's matethird class, USN, (right) son of John E. Kannianen of Sebeka, Minn., is welcomed to Headquarters Pacific Missile Range at Point Mugu, Calif., by Capt. W. E. Sweeney, USN, (left), deputy commander of the range. The Pacific Missile Range provides support facilities for the armed services and government agencies for launching, tracking and collecting data in guided missile, satellite and space vehicle programs. Before entering the Navy in February i952, Kannianen was graduated from Sebeka High School.
