Daniels | explained in detail the purpose of the j military maneuvers aud aroused enthusiasm by his patriotic appeal to the veterans. Other speakers urged a contribution on the part of the members, either by volunteering their services or by financial donations.At 1 o’clock this afternoon the general committee appointed by President Marcus Kavanagli of the Chicago Maine Memorial Fund Association, will meet in the Hotel La Salle to report on the progress of the week.Report on Arrangements.
