The command is composed of 65 officers and 3.106 men, they comprising the 1st. 2nd and 4th Virginia National Guard regiments which trained at Camp McClellan.Richmond. May 12.—Chairman II. W. It is said that in certain other states no provision was made for the welfare of the soldeirs on the occasion of the big parades held there. The Rich mond plan of trying to give the sol diers a real welcome home in which their comfort and pleasure have the chief consideration is highly gratifying to the war department officials.
