Harris Brigade Association.Pursuant ta a call of tlio President of the Harris bn-gade Association, a meeting of said association was held at Port Gibson, April 20th, 1880, the president, Capf. G. 11. Fulkerson, in the chair.The president stated tho object of the meeting to bo to consider certain communications from Gen. N. II. Harris, and others,on ilie subject of the proposed reunion at Vicksburg, on May 12tb, pro.x, and also to consider tbo postponement to June 2nd, as proposed by the members of the association, residing in Warren county.Alter a full discussion, the following preamble and resolutions were uuanimousl vadopted.Whereas, This association at its general meeting on November 13th, 1871), resolvedto hold its 2nd reunion atVicksburg on May 12, 1880, at which place and time it was proposed to organize Iho Mississippi Division of the Army of Northern Virginia, and to that end the survivors of said army, residents of Mississippi, were invited to attend, and Whereas, Tho members of this association residing inWarren county, did,at a meeting Held at Vicksburg on tbo 20th inst., resolve to post-* pone said reunion until June 2nd, 1880, and Whereas, It coining to tho knowledge of this association that the Press Association of Mississippi will meet on said 2nd of June, at Yazoo Uity, thus rendering the reunion :n that day impracticable.
