Army Pet. Theodore J Berry, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Berry, 3009 Avenue D, has completed eight weeks of advanced individual training at The Field Artillery Training Center, Fort Sill, Okla.Berry was training in the duties and responsibilities of a cannoneer. He received instruction in the loading, filing and maintenance of artillery guns, howitzers and heavy machine-guns and in artillery communications and ammunition handling and storage.Berry entered the Army in December 1901 and received basic training at Fort Carson, Colo.
