TWO BROTHERS, SISTER IN ARMYTwo Altoona brothers and a sister are serving in the United States army. They are now widely separated. but all are doing their bit in the cause of democracy and the preservation of liberty and freedom. They are the sons and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Myers of 1426 Twenty-first avenue Miss Evelyn Myers is a. lieutenant in the United States army nursing corps and is with General MacArthur's forces in Australia. The parents a day or two ago received two letters from her. One was written aboard a transport en route “Somewhere” and the other advised that she was in Australia and that the welcome and hospitality extended by the Australians was wonderful.The brothers are Robert and Raymond Myers. The former is with an engineers’ outfit in Iceland and the other is attached to an infantry regiment with the rank of a sharpshooter. He is a crack marksman and in a shoot with 3.000 participants he took third honors.
