NEW SERVICE STATION be-ng built on the old A, F. Bur-ton property at the corner of Third Avenue and Washington Street is part of a mild construction boom in Alton this spring. It is being built by W. L. Call, and will be operated by Dell Taysom when completed. It will be modern in everyrespect and will be finished soon. Many new residences arenow under construction in Af-ton, along with several business buildings or enlargements.
