Selkiik Soldier In KoreaThanks Lames 01 LegionSgt. E.J. Sinclair, of Selkirk, now with the Canadian Army in Korea writes the following letter of appreciation for a parcel sent to him by the Selkirk Legion Ladies Auxiliary.H 800261 Sgt. E J, Sinclair,H.Q. Coy. 2nd. Bn. PPCL1 CAPO 5002 c/o Postmaster, Vanvouver, B.C.Korea, April 19. ,Thanks ever so much for the parcel which arrived yesterday. '1716 socks were very welcome as we are continually changing them, and there are no facilities for washing when we are in action.W came out of the line on the 17th for a much needed rest and are just loafing around taking life easy. I sure enjoyed taking my clothes off for the first time in three weeks and having a good shower. We were only allowed one blanket and a ground sheet in action. Some of the nights were very coldhut we managed to make out allright. The battalion has started five day leaves to Japan but the quota is very small at present. I hope to get there on leave as there are some lovely souvenirs to be bought quite cheaply. Thanks again for the parcel.Elmer Sinclair
