Fly To New YorkWhen the 43rd bomb group of the eighth air force returns to its home base at Davis-Monthan field early next week from two*week maneuvers at Wendover field in Utah, Col. .lames C. Seiser\ jr., will immediately set the group at work preparing for its part in a massflight of B-29's over New York City.Plans are in the making for thelargest peacetime flight of Superfortresses. More than 125 planes are being lined up for the mock bombing raid on the nation’s largestcity.Gen. George C. Kenney, commanding general of the strategicair command, will lead the Suier-f or tresses on the maneuvers. The planes will be over other largecities of the East, including Washington and Philadelphia.Several motives are behind the B-29 flights.
