He trained at San Diego £ and received orders for overseas service on October 2. 1944. He was a gunner on a warship. £Memorial services for the young man will be held at St. f John's Lutheran church here on ' May 20. at 3 p.m.. Rev. A. W I Weber announced. Linke was a member of the Lutheran s church. FA native of Wesley, he was born March 24. 1927, and at tended the Oak Hill school.
