RETURNS TO BASE.Flying Officer Joseph B. Summers left from Moline airport j Monday to fly back to Hammer Field, Fresno, Calif., after spending the past two weeks visitinghis parents, Mr, and Mrs. L. A.Rummers at Ardon.w He has been stationed at Hammer Field since his graduation from the bombardier school at Deming, N. M.. April 10, where he received his silver wings as a j bombardier and dead reckoning 0iavigator, Summers, who enteredservice Feb. 19, 1943, graduated as an aerial gunner Nov. 20, 1943,at Kingman, Ariz. His pre-flight ! training was received at Santa Ana, Calif.He ia now with the Fourth Airorce, awaiting orders.
