Reynolds, adjutant-general of Ohio, made a second visit to Xenia Friday morning to inspect the additional site offered as a location tor the new armory, and it appealed to him at once its, the hh al place for the structure.'I ho adjutant-general authorized the statement that he approved ofthis site and would officially recommend it as his choice for the location of the building.The site chosen is in proximity to the Springfield branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad, offering theadvantage of easy faeilitie; for loading and unloading of supplies for Company L, 117th Infantry, Ohio National Guard.The location is a triangular tract of land which comprises I w elseplatted lots. Its dimensions include a frontage of 356 feet on thewest, side, f*lt;»2 feet, on the .south side, sixty teet on the. east side and 398 feet on ihe north side.The armorv will definitely he constructed on this location providing the lots can he purchasedat a reasona.ble price.Proponents of the site point out that, the proposed armory, which will he a handsome structure lt;t brick and stone, will add measurably to the attractions of the addition and the value of contiguous real estate. It would also further the idea of a civic center in thepark in these days when most, cities are fostering civic centers.iThe $50,(»0(l appropriation voted by the state legislature lor the Jnal armory will he available July 25.
