Sparks,0Dear Madam,I am a soldier boy just returned to America, I had the pleasure of meeting your son in France and on leaving him he asked me to write to you and let you know that he is in thWoffg CM, let you know that he is well and will soon leave for home, he expects tosail in May. He js in the medical staff♦and took care of me while I was in the hospital in France, and believe,me he is some nurse too. Well Mrs. Sparks you can thank God that your boy will come back to you alive and well, for some of us boys sure tasted the fires• i . .of hell on the battle fields of France.♦ * • mI lost my two brothers in July andwhat is left of me is just half a man. » . 1 • •But they say if we trust in God, he will make things right.
