She then is scheduled to beginflight training this September atHondo Air Force Base in Texas “I've been around aviation allr 1 f. said Miss Chlapowski, a hose father is a retired air* traffic controller “I’ve been thinking womenwould be selected tor pilot training/ she said “I think it’s exciting I’ve got a chance tofly”She made her first solo flight at the age of 16, paying for flying lessons w ith her summer-work savings.BOZEMAN (AP) A localsporting goods company that alleged the Big Sky Ski Area broke a three-vear old contractw‘by starting a ski rental business has been ordered to pay $10,449 to the ski area operators.District C ourt Judge W W Lessley ruled that Beaver Pond Sporting Goods Co. failed to prove it had a legal monopoly on ski rentals at Big Sky.On Friday, Lessley awarded Big Sky $5,193 in damages and another $5,256 for attorney fees and court costs.Beaver Fond filed its suit in January, and Lessley enjoined Big Sky from operating a ski rental business from Jan 8 to Feb 7. when it won the court case.
