Area men in U. S. serviceEIELSON, Alaska — U. S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Richard W. Taylor, son of Mrs. Lola O. Taylor. Curtis, Mich., has arrived for duty at Eielson AFB, Alaska.Sergeant Taylor, an aircraft maintenance technician, is in a unit of the Strategic Air Command, America's nuclear deterrent force of long range bombers and intercontinental ballistic missiles. He previously served as Kincheloe AFB, Mich., and has also served in Vietnam.The sergeant is a 1963 graduate of Newberry lt;Mich.) High School. His wife. Linda, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olan G. Ruble, 307 W. Pearl. Mt. Pleasant, la.
