Former Polk County Boy MadeCaptainLevi Lundberg of Idaho Falls, Idaho, is in the city for a visit with former friends of his family in Polk county. He is a captain in a Machine Gun Battalion and saw service in the Vosges, Argonne and at Metz and gave a good account of himself in the lighting. He belonged to the Idaho National Guard and was one of the early arrivals among the state troops. He is a son of John Lundberg and was born in Polk county 34 years ago and has been gone for 28 years. His father resided on what is now the Chas. Myers farm northwest of Osceola. Heis visiting Ed Swanson and Oliver Westberg and other friends of his father’s family.
