WINS COMMISSION — Miss Vera Jean Albofonte, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Albofonte, Geneva Rd.. has gone to Newport, R. I., where she has been commissioned an ensign in the Waves. As a supply officer, Ensign Albofonte will receive four months training. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
