VUliiuuuaxivAction of the Floyd County Bar in Relation to HisDeath*J udge Ferguson, immediately after calling the docket in the circuit court this morning, convened the bar for the purpose of taking action on the death of Col. Horatio Woodbury; whereupon Judge D. W. La-follette was called to the chair, and Thomas L, Smith appointed secretary.Hon. J. V. Kelso feelingly referred to first meeting meeting Cot Woodbury in Leavenworth, in 1858, and touchingly mentioned the fact that he took charge of the school as teacher over which Col. Woodbury bad previously the care, but had re signed in order to enter upon the practice of law. He paid a high tribute to his business qualifications and to his standing as a member of the Crawford county bar; he also paid a high compliment to his valor as a soldier in the 81st Indiana Infantry, and his after career as Secretary of the Ter ritory of Wyoming, to his uniformly courteous and efficient bearing as Collector j of Internal Revenue at this city, and to the ; high esteem in which he was held in this city as an honest man, an indulgent par*» ent, geod neighbor, and of gentlemanly deportment in all the walks of life.
