FAIL F1M STREETResults in Injuries That May ’ Prove Fatal to Geo. Anderson of Washington Township.George Anderson, a well known farmer of Washington township, was perhaps fatally Injured Friday night by falling or stepping from a moving street car in front of the court house square. At noon Saturday Mr. Anderson was still unconscious from his injuries and grave doubts were entertained by the attending physicians for bis recovery. His family was noti-fied.of the accident late Friday night and one son, Ralph Anderson,arrived here Saturday morning. Mr. Anderson is a brother of Miss Mary Anderson, of this city, and also of the late Capt. R. W. Anderson.Just how Mr. Andersop met with the accident which may cost him his life, is not known He had been to Bvesville during the day and was returning home on the 9 o’clock car which was in charge of Conductor Charles Aduc'dell and Motorman Wm. McCulley. As the car was passing tne National hotel Mr. Anderson stepped out on the rear platform aod when East 8th street, was called, signaled the conductor to stop at the court house square- The conductor stated last evening that there was a lady to leave the car at that point and after assisting her from the car he turned to see if Mr. Anderson had got off and not seeing him on the platform, thought he had left the car and gave the motorman the signal to go ahead. He did not learn of the accident until the return trip.In the meantime the Injured man was found by Fred Garber and Clarence Dugan and assisted by Albert Rose, who was driving by, they car-rlea Mr. Anderson to Dr. Lowry’s office. After a hasty examination by Dr. Lowry and Dr. Frame the injured man was removed to the American hotel.In falling from the car Mr. Anderson’s head struck the pavement, rendering him unconsicous and he was also injured internally and od account of his age it is feared that
