Wounded in ActionWarrent Officer Charles R. Elliston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Elliston, Neosho route 1, was wounded April 15 in action in Vietnam, according to word received by his parents.Elliston was shot in the jaw by small arms fire while piloting ahelicopter in the Pleiku area as amember of the 170th AssaultHelicopter company.A graduate of Neosho high school, he attended the University of Missouri at Rolla and received basic training at Ft. Polk, La. He received his wings as a helicopter pilot at Fort Rucker, Ala., and had been three weeks in Vietnam.He was due to arrive today atFitzsimons General hospital, Denver, Colo.
