LenoxCopt. Wylie Wins MedalLENOX — Capt. Alexander C.Wylie and Mrs. Wylie are visiting Capt. Wylie’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Wylie of 115 New Lenox Road.Capt. Wylie, who recently returned from Vietnam was awarded the Bronze Star on March 19 the day before he left Vietnam. The citation reads:“By direction of the President, the Bronze Star Medal is presented to Capt. Alexander C. Wylie, military intelligence, United States Army, who distinguished himself by outstanding meritorious service in connection with military operations against a hostile force in the Republic of Vietnam.”The citation goes on to say that Wylie's assessment and solutions of numerous problems inherent in a combat environment “greatly enhanced the allied effectiveness against a determined and aggressive enemy.” 1Wylie is a 1959 graduate of ' Lenox High School and a 1983 'graduate of Boston University, 1 where he majored in journal- (ism. 1After his leave Capt.
