DOGS FOR DEFENSE. Ralph Boalt of Winona and Dick Ryan of Rochester have been named members of a committee for Minnesota for Dogs for Defense. The committee wlil coordinate the gatheringand training of the dogs to helpsentries guard supply depots of the army and navy throughout the country.Dogs were extensively used for this purpose in the first World war and are now being used in England and Europe. Details of the program are now being worked out and a definite program will be under way shortly.
