War Department to Take Over All Pilot Training CentersCHICAGO-— (ANPl—Ml«Willn 13. Brown, federal coordinator of civilian pilot training programs conducted by the Coffey School ofAcrooautii^ at Harlem air-port, has Tcceivcd notification that the facilities of advanced CPTP training centers will bo utilized by the U.S. Army: thus becoming feeders for the air corps.Tliis government move affects over 700 college and non-college pilot training centers, including the one nt Tu-'kegee Institute. All facilities. equipment and personnel of these schools was subjected to rigid mlt;pection prior to the War Department's decision that they be .brought under the direct su-prlt;i'ion of the arms.
