MILITARY HEADQUARTERS.The night at the City Buildings was quietly passed. Mayor Stephens remained at his office through the night. General Finley made the Mayor’s office his headquarters and was busily engaged throughout the night. He was in constant communication with the various companies. The Health Office Was converted into a Commissary Department, and all rations for the militia were issued from there. Seven hundred rations were sent to the County Jail at midnightThe First Battery, of Cleveland, arrived at1 a.m., in command of First Lieutenant H. M.Clewell. They were stationed in the CityBuildings Park.The Fifth Regiment, in command of CaptainSmithnight, arrived at 2 o’clock. The troopsare stationed as follows:Sixth Regiment—Oompany F, Gas-works. Companies D and E, Music Hall. Companies A and B, depot Company G, City Buildings.Seventeenth Regiment—Company F, Hammond Street Station.Company B on patrol.Companies A and G guard City Buildings.Fourteenth Regiment—Company D guarding powder magazines.
