York of the Alamo ranch has been named regional director of the Dogs for Defense. Inc., an organization commissioned by Major General Edmund B. Gregory, quartermaster general, to secure dogs to guard quartermaster’s stores at depots throughout the nation.Mrs. York will direct efforts in this area to provide training for dogs which will be used in this ,j service.
