Upon learning of her arrest here, oflicers from Manitowoc came through and took her to that plate for trial. We learn that she formerly lived! at Bay de Noquet with her husband, that) s her husband lives now somewhere on the shore of Lake Michigan, that she ha* been absent from her hiishipnl nearly two years,1 part of the time in camp at Madison in a soldier’s uniform; that she speaks two or three languages, has cultivated a hghi' moustache, and like some of the counter- a feit money now in circulation, at first glance j It is well calculated to deceive.
