S, W, V.TO MEET IN CHICAGOAnnual Encampment There Septem ber 4, 5, 8 and 7Chicago, March 28.—The annualencampment of the United Spanish War Veterans will be held in Chicago, Sept. 4, 5, 6 and 7, According to Dr. C. L, Daiiiels, past department commander, chairman of the committee on arrangements, who made the announcement, not less than 25,000 veterans of the Spanish and Philippine wars will attend the reunion, together with their Wives and thousands of their friends.One of the features of/ the reurflon it was stated, will be a competitive drill, maneuvers and a sham battle in Grant park by two brigades of the United States Veterans Legion, the military branch of the organization, which was formed here recently to prepare against war.The legion is composed entirely of veterans of American wars, former service men of the United States army and navy. Congressman L, C.
