«William EllsworthKANOPOLIS - William “Arkie” Ellsworth, 79, died March 27, 1985, at the Ellsworth County Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born April 18, 1905, in Wabaunsee County, he wasa laborer and caretaker of Buckeye Cemetery, Kanopolis. He had been a Kanopolis area resident for 63 years.Survivors: brothers; Neil, Vancouver, Wash., Merlin, Miles City Mont.; sister, Minnie Holland, Chico, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Grubb-Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, the Rev. Jack Karch. Burial will be at the Buckeye Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
