Mesquite in Brady, completed recently eight weeks of basic training at the U. S. Army Training Center, Infantry, Ft. Polk, La.He received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, combat tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid, and army history and traditions.Pvt. Solis served with Company C, 1st Battalion of the 5th Basic Training Brigade.He is a former student of Brady High School.
