Partlow were honored Saturday night at a party In the home of the former’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Craw-. ,ford_ 504 Fourth avenue. Sergeant Partlow Is here briefly en route to his new base. He Is accompanied by his bride of six months who is meet-, ing his family for the first time. Mrs. Partlow is the former Mildred, Lawson, a corporal in the marine corps whom he met at Cherry Point, !N. Q, Sergeant Partlow is a veteran of Bougainville, having had eighteen month’s service overseas, i Patriotic appointments were used throughout.There was a business meeting during the course of the evening when a flag was given the group by Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Partlow, this In turn *betag presented to Mrs. Donald Bodine whose husband recently left for service in the navy. Sergeant Fkrtlow and Urban Crawford made the presentation.A star was placed on the family service flag for Donald Bodine who is the tenth member in the service.Gary Lament Andrie 1s the newest addition to the family. He is the 2-week-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Andrie Qf Milan. *I Grant Partlow, 78, was the oldest member of the family In attendance.Mrs. Edwin Stem of St. Paul, Minn., was .an qut-of-town guest.I 'V A- A
