Sill, Oklahoma, died Saturday night of a cerebral hemorrhage and basil brain damage at Ft. Sill.Bandor, the son of Mr. and Mrs. .less Bandor of Thorp, was injured Tuesday at t p.m. and died Saturday a t 10:15 p.m. Funeral arrangements are pending.Bandor was riding in a jeep with three other servicemen when the mishap occured. He was not driving the vehicle.Bandor was one of the great athletes in Thorp history. He was selected A 1 I-Northwest quarterback in both1962 and 196.1 and also madethe All-Northwest basketballteam in 1963-64.He graduated from Thorp High School in 19S4 and entered the University of Wis-consin. He played on t h e freshman football team that fall and was elevated to the varsity as a sophomore t h e following year. Bandor was a letterwinner as a defensive back and offensive flanker.He entered service in t h e spring of 1966 and had already served a year in Vietnam when the accident occurred.
