Hunt Countian InMarine Service Is Reported Missing9#•The name of Corporal Viva A. Bishop of the United Statos Marines has been added to the list of Hunt-co young men who have died in the service of their country.Corporal Bishop, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Bishop of Lone Oak, has been reported missing following action in the performanceof his duty and in the defense of his country, the War Department at Washington has advised his grandparents. The department said that more details will be furnished immediately upon receipt.The missing Marine was one of Lone Oak’s most popular young men and was well known in. that section of the county. He enlisted in the Marines on July 5, 1939.
