Student PPot Killed In CrashPRESQUE ISLE UP)~ A student pilot, making his first solo flight.Was killed in the crash of las light private plane on a farm near Presque Isle yesterday.He was identified as Air Force Sgt. Roger L. Wood of Warsaw, 111., attached to Presque Isle AirForce Base.The plane was owned by JohnFhilbrick of Fort Fairfield.Maine aeronautics officials saidwitnesses’ accounts of the mishapindicated Wood lost control in attempting too steep a turn.
