U P. Moody of Galveston.A small Texaa state flair, presented by Mr. George A. Itranard of Austin, wis carried by Mr. Branard, who was color-boarer of the First Texas Regiment. This tiny flag was tied to the flag-staff of the regimental colors, went through all the engagements whi'h Hood’s brigade was In till the war ernf^d at Appomattox. Mr. Rranard had intended never to part with it, but when he was here In June and raw the museum be concluded It was the onlysafe depository for so precious a relic.« • i r . i. . f .
