I Obituaries |Services Sunday1 for Lt. Skibbe IA memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille, Mount Prospect, for Marine 2d Lt. David W. Skibbe, who was killed in action, March 2, 1970, in Vietnam.A new gymnasium at St. Mark Church will be named a memorial to David Skibbe. Memorials may be made to the church for this purpose.Lt. Skibbe was a graduate of the University of Illinois, Ur-bana, where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Psi fraternity and the NROTC.He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Skibbe of Des Plaines, two sisters, Mrs. Joan Tomoff of Tucson, Ariz., and Janet, a brother, William P. and David’s fiancee, Georgine Tortorella.
