VISITS FRIENWS GRAVEDefinite assurance of the death if action of their son. Pvt Edward ,L Fulmer, who was one of the first Middletown men to lose hi* lifer in ttte fighting in Europe, was re* ceived during the past week by hil parents, Mr. and Mrs; Edward J. Fulmer, from an unexpected source.David Alexander, 18-year-old ion of Mr and Mrs. Frank Alexander, of Frederick, and a grandson of the late Eugene Alexander, of Middle* town,who is now with Patton'! Array somewhere in -Germany, wrote to his parents, telling them how he had taken advantage of • 24-hour pass to return into the French countryside. While there be visited an American cemetery, and was shocked and surprised tosee, on one of the white crosses which marked the graves of dead, the name of Edw. Fulmer, of Middletown. He had known young Fulmer as a friend back in the States.
