James Gilbert and Rev. Willis D. Stafford will officiate. Military rites will be under the direction of the Clarendon VFW post.Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under direction of Murphy-Spicer Funeral Home.Private Tyler was bom in Hall County and was farming near Wellington prior to entering service in October, 1944. He received basic training at Camp Joseph T. Robinson, Ark., and was stationed at Ft.Ord and Ft. Latton, Wash., before his assignment to the Pacific Theater. He was in Hawaii and the Marianas before taking part in the Okinawa campaign in which he was killed May 25, 1945. He was 20 years old.Survivor* are a daughter, Barbara June, of Quail; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Tyler. Clarendon; three sisters. Adear Tvler, Clarendon, Mrs. Marie Bew-ley, Nipomo, Cal., and Mrs. Doris Smith. Ou8dalupe, Cal.; one brother, Vernon Tyler, Nipomo, Cal., and his grandmother, Mrs. Susan Ella Tyler. Clarendon. Another sisterMrs. Earlene Anthony, died March 12.
