Roak arrired at Galveston this morning at daybreak, haring on board Generals Nichols and McLeod and some three hundred of the Texas volunteers who went to - | demand the surrender by the U. S. troops of Fort Brown and the other military forts on tbe RiO*Grande. As will be seen by our corres pondenoe, published below, tbe objects of the ^ expedition were accomplished without bloodshed, which we regard as a more fortunate cir Jen instance than tbe most complete triumph of I arms could have been.Tbe U. S. troops were being slowly embarked on tbe steamer Webster, and the Rusk will return immediately from this city for tbe purpose of carrying away those who cannot be taken by tbe Webster.Tbe volunteers who remain on tbe Rio Grande 11 have enlisted fora term of six months; and are oflicered as follows :Col. John S. Ford, Commander of the whole force.J. E. Love, Adjutant ;W. W. Reynolds, Quarter Master :Captain Powers, Beaumont Dragoons, tube stationed at Brazns Santiago.Capt.
