This case holds on the lower shelf the War service records of Boone County” comp led by the Rev. O. H. Carmichael, in type written form, and bound in black and ijold by J. W. Shumate.The second shelf holds the picture of Emmett Brown, the Lebanon soldier, who frnve h:s life to the service, with a service flajf and picture of his jjrave. Here also, is placed the memorial address, vriven bv F.lza Rogers for Mis* Grace Copeland, Boone County’s War Hero'ne, at the presentation of n portrait of Miss Copeland to the Emmett Brown Legion Post. •The third shelf holds the Gold Star Book for Boone countv, compiled by Mrs. Genree ComJev, wh:lt;*h is the most complete record of this kind in the state, as it contain-? a portrait and a very foil account of nil the soldiers from Boone county who fe their ’wee ••nd also t1 lt;pn^ra'1 and memorial tributes to Mis* Oone-lond, the nurse.
