Personnel of the two local units are assignedto components of the Engineer Battalion.The local National Guard band will continue to be a part of 34th Division headquarters. It is the only unit in the division not affected by the reorganization order.Fairfield officers stressed that the reorganization will not bring a change in local National Guard strength. It does mean new unit designations and new duties for Service and Medical company personnel.Same CommandUnder the new order, the 34th Division will become a pentomic division organized for atomic warfare.
