MISSING IN RAIDLT. FOY RAY CLINGMANMrs- Luvin Head has been noti fied by the War Department that her son. Lt. Foy Ray Clingman 22, of the U. S. Navy is missing in action over Germany.Clir.grran was a pilot on a B-17 Flying Fortress in a raid on February 22, and did not return to | his base. He has been in England with a bomber force since November, 1943, and has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for operations over Germany.Lt. Clingman graduated from the Bowie High School in the spring of 1940 and later attended college in Kansas before volunteering for the armed services. He lettered in the Bowie High School in 1939.o
