ITALIAN JOINS U. S. FORCESCANTON, O., March. 1G (UP) — Hugo Miglielta, 29, a Canton mechanic who served in the Italian army in Ethiopia in 1936, went to Columbus today to be inducted into the U. S. Army.He was born in Cincinnati and his parents took him to their native Italy when he was two years old. I-Ie served as a mechanic with the Italian forces in Africa for 18 months. He re turned to tlio United States four years ago.Miglictla enlisted recently because “I believe it is a good cause.” He said that Gen. MacArtliur's stand in the Philippines was lt;au inspiration to him.
