Hazelett, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Speer, is on duty at Tan Son Nhut AB, Vietnam.Airman Hazelett, a jet aircraft mechanic, has been in the fight since October 1966. He is a member of the Pacific Air Forces, the nation’s combat-ready air arm guarding the 10,000-inile Bamboo Curtain.Before his arrival in Southeast Asia, he was assigned to the 10th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.The airman is a graduate of Ottumwa High School and his wife, Pamela, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Barker of 512 Frank St., Ottumwa.
